A mecha team battle tournament, with martial arts and guns. The series follows team Suzaku, as they go up against Team Sledge Mamma, a trio of cybernetically-enhanced cyborgs. Cartoon Network aired IGPX in 2003 on Toonami's Total Immersion Event. It was well received, resulting in a full 13-episode series in 2005, which lasted two seasons. However it was completely reworked. Now a mecha racing/battle circuit, with redesigned machines, more teams, reworked characters and designs. The best being the Latino pilot, Liz of Team Satomi (Suzaku renamed.) She has a stronger personality, and a more bronzey complexion and better hair color befitting her nationality. And I love the character redesigns of Sledge Mamma's pilots, especially Yamma! He now has a personality, and I loved it! I personally was unsatisfied with the changes, I tried to like it. I thought the new series was okay, but not as good as it COULD have been. I did appreciate the work put into it though. Here's are the five episodes of the microseries.
